This new service offers support to young women and girls aged 12-21 years who are vulnerable individuals and at risk of, or open to social services under a risky behaviour plan or under a Multi-Agency Child Sexual Exploitation plan.

The service offers a 3 phased approach to improve:

  • Emotional support and wellbeing

  • Effective communication skills

  • Awareness of risk taking behaviours

  • Positive and negatives of social media

  • Values leading to better choices

  • Assertiveness

  • Decision making skills – enabling the female to get their voice heard

  • Self-esteem

  • Confidence

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Anger and anger management skills – enabling understanding of behaviours during challenging situations.


Who can refer into the service?

  • Self-referral

  • Social worker

  • Health practitioner e.g. GP, Nurse

  • Support worker

  • Family Member

Service staff will work in partnership with all professionals involved in the Young Person’s life to create a holistic assessment, signs of safety and formulate a plan. Staff will then deliver a 3 phased programme of 1:1 sessions, group activities and community and peer mentoring to meet the individual’s needs.

  • Relationship & social skills

  • Crisis management
